Hunting and Whitetail Breeding Operation
Redmon Ranch
6707 Bartlett Rd.
Katy, TX 77493
We harvested most of the native deer in 2003 and moved in pregnant does from Bill Carter's Somberito Ranch in South Texas. We took 200"+ bucks in 2008 and every year since. We have a number of very nice bucks in the pasture. Please see our "Whitetail Bucks in the Pasture" page.
We are now booking hunts for the upcoming season. We have a range of whitetails and some exotics available. We also have six stocked fishing lakes and ponds which you are welcome to enjoy.
Please contact us and come hunt and have a great time - we have comfortable elevated blinds, that can handle 4 people. Blinds are equipped with executive chairs, over look planted food plots, each with automatic feeders. If you preffer hunting from ground blinds, tripods, safari style or stalk hunting, we can accomodate you with prior arrangements.
We are also only 7 miles from Fayette County Power Plant Lake if you would like to spend a day fishing for bass. There is also tons of antique shopping at numerous central Texas towns if the wife would like to come along.
Below you will find our fee schedule.
Please note that a valid resident or non-resident Texas hunting license is required in order to hunt.
Our ranch is a Level III MLDP and our whitetail season starts the first of Oct and runs thru the end of Feb. Also - since we are under MLDP - you do not have to use your buck tags to take a buck on our ranch.
Exotics can be hunted anytime of the year.
We have a four bedroom 3 1/2 bath home that is practically new with new furniture and appliances. We have two kings, one queen, and two twin beds, big screen HD TV with Direct TV, and fireplace. The food is great and you will be able to relax with a cozy fire in the fireplace or sitting at the ourdoor fire pit.
We also have RV spots with full hook-ups and 50 AMP service for those that like to bring their home with them and save a little money.
We also have a simple one room 20X20 cabin for those that want modest digs. It does have a hot shower, direct TV and cool AC if needed and four bunk beds.

The trophy fee will not exceed the price based on the class given by the guide, however should the actual class be less than the guide estimated, the price will be reduced to the amount shown on the Trophy Fee Schedule below.

We will work hard to find any wounded animal and will provide the hunter with skull and antlers if found. The guide will make the final decision as to whether animal was wounded.
4. Deposits are non-refundable. Hunts may be re-scheduled later in the season or next season depending on space available and conditions of the cancellation. No shows on the day of the hunt will result in no refund of the deposit or reschedule of the hunt.

6. Hunters that want to bring an RV or camp and provide their own meals and snacks may have a credit of $145 per day per hunter applied at the conclusion of the hunt. Credit will be deducted off the final bill. Note that this only applies to Value Bucks Hunts, but only to trophy whitetail hunts when a trophy is taken.

Should the hunter pass or miss the shot on his oppurtunity there is no refund. If the hunter does not get an oppurtunity we will refund his fee less $325 per day or part of a day, which is the guide fee and accomodation fee.
